Welcome back to New Zealand, where The Photo That Came With Your Picture Frame (hereinafter and forever and ever “TPTCWYPF”) must decide if they can keep racing on a bum ankle.

They’re not giving up and are headed to Bali, Indonesia where a monkey will give them their next clue. The Newlyweds get ahold of a phone at some nice man’s house and books airline tickets on a flight that arrives in Bali at 8:30 a.m., and are joined by BFF, TPTCWYPF, and My Family Is Famous. The other teams are split between two flights, both landing at 12:05 p.m., until Pretty Pretty Pretty and YouTube find a faster flight during a layover and arrive in Bali at 10:30 a.m.

To the Monkey Forest! My Family Is Famous sings a terrible song they wrote about winning the race and tell us about a pet flying squirrel one of them kept in her bra until it died of loneliness. The teams must give a coconut to the monkey which will open it, revealing their next clue.

Smashing, chomping, gnawing, and Detour! Sandy Bottom or Fruity Top. At Sandy Bottom, teams must collect sand from the bottom of a river and transport it 200 yards uphill to the brick maker. At Fruity Top, teams must prepare a religious offering headpiece and carry it to a priest where it will be blessed. TPTCWYPF get their clue first, followed by Newlyweds, BFFs and My Family Is Famous. They all choose Fruity Top.

The next two teams arrive in Bali and start the monkey coconut snacking process. They both choose Fruity Top. Meanwhile, Team Bros are lost in Indonesia as Roller Derby and Permullet are handed their next clue by tiny little monkey hands.

BFFs finished the task first, followed by TPTCWYPF and the Newlyweds. My Family Is Famous made the sloppiest fruit salad ever, so they have to redo it before getting a clue that sends teams to Uluwatu Surf Beach.

OMG! Pretty Pretty Pretty wander into the wrong courtyard and start pasting flowers together in little woven baskets because they think that’s their next task, but it’s really just some guy who’s in the middle of a crafts project! It’s totally bizarre and nobody speaks English… until a policeman shows up and kicks them out of the couple’s house.

Roller Derby is the only team that chooses Sandy Bottom. It involves carrying 30 lbs of sand on your head up a steep incline and looks absolutely grueling.

At Uluwata Beach, teams are faced with a Roadblock. One team member must find a surfboard with an image of something they all experienced printed on the board. They must carry the surfboard to the pit stop, and if they have the wrong board, they must go back and choose again.

Conner took a peek at Winnie’s board and saw that she had one with an image of the Tahitian priest who blessed them in Bora Bora, so he grabbed the same one and beat her to the pit stop. So TPTCWYPF came in first, but in a very unsportsmanlike manner, with BFFs in second and the Newlyweds third.

Pretty Pretty Pretty finally locate the correct house and are not doing well with the task. But rather than using their Express Pass, they switch to the other task, Sandy Bottom. That is going to be a huge mistake since Permullet and Team Bros (who are finally back in the game) are already pretty far along with their fruit sculptures. And, before Pretty Pretty Pretty even arrive at the river, Roller Derby finishes and is off to the surf shop. So now they’re alone at a task with the sun on the verge of setting, not knowing if there is another team behind them, but refusing to cough up that Express Pass. If it’s okay with you, I’m going to switch their team name to Dummy Dummy Dummy.

Speaking of surf shops, My Family Is Famous chooses the wrong surfboard. And chooses the wrong surfboard again. After randomly picking the right one, Phil checks them in as team number four.

Team YouTube checks in with the correct board as team number five. Roller Derby is team number six, and Permullet is right behind…with the wrong surfboard. Phil gives Roller Derby an opportunity to tell them what the right board is, but they decline, which is harsh. Now it’s down to a battle of brains for last place between Permullet and Dummy Dummy Dummy. Eventually, Permullet gets it right and checks in with Phil as team number eight.

Dummy Dummy Dummy is the last team to arrive, in the dark, with an Express Pass in their grubby paws. They are eliminated from the race. Wow. What an embarrassing way to go out.

Next week, the teams face the dreaded Double U-Turn.
