I am halfway through Season 2 of The West Wing, and here are my initial observations:
- Moody lighting makes every discussion much more serious;
- 1999 was the precipice of technology;
- Brown suits are not a good look on anyone except Rob Lowe; and
- I am now totally qualified to work at the White House.
And while we’re on the subject, have you seen Veep? It’s smart and funny and likely frighteningly close to reality. Plus, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a superb comedic actress with absolutely no shame. If you have HBO, hunker down for a marathon or two.
