I agree, this episode went beyond “kids these days” and sashayed into “wow, these kids are seriously maladjusted” territory.

Like EVERY character had a moment that made me cringe, but Marnie’s singing was by far the worst. I had to pick up a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in each hand just to stop myself from turning off the TV! It was brutal. Even though I actually thought her singing wasn’t bad, it was the tragic, misguided premise that made it awful.
